Sight tests - £25

Regular examinations are important for all ages – not just to ascertain if spectacles or contact lenses are required but to check the health of the eyes and detect diseases such as Glaucoma, Cataracts and Macular degeneration.

We are able to take photos of the Retina with Fundus Camera and are able to conduct Estermann Visual Fields Screening which is required by DVLA for some driving license applications.

Free sight tests for those under 16, under 19 and still in full-time education, over 60 and those in receipt of qualifying benefits, e.g. JSA,ESA,IS,Tax credits, as well as patients with Diabetes or a family history of Glaucoma. If not sure of entitlement – please ask a member of staff.

Contact lenses

We offer a wide range of contact lenses, to suit different needs – Work, hobbies, sports and social. For both new and returning users, all we require is an up-to-date and valid spectacle lens prescription, and you’re good to go.

Our eye care experts are patient and understanding, as your satisfaction with your chosen contact lenses is our top priority. To make things even easier, our opticians will explain any complex terms and features.
